Fall

Fall

A Poem by Emily

The leaves are changing
As well as I
My friends are grieving
For I will soon die
My hair is turning grey
Like clouds on a rainy day
My skin is rough
Like bark on the trees
Times are getting tough
But I stop to enjoy the breeze
When I go do not weep
For I will be inches deep

This poem reminds me of a poem by Thomas Campbell. In the poem he beautifully describes the circumstances with the happenings of nature around him. Really great.
