Just BeA Poem by Emily L
Just Be
In the beginning there was nothingness No rules No conformity's No right or wrong way of living Just a vast array of natures freshly born beauty I like to think that once the meaning of life was to ravish in the earths celestial beauty And for your innocent soul to be filled with love and adoration of the simplicity that the world was born with As time has passed on, society has artificially placed itself into the picture We are taught from the beginning how to act, how to live, what to do, and who to be But I say Just Be We love to stress and worry about what our lives are going to be We question ourselves, "what am I doing?" "when will I get there?" "how will I get there?!" "Am I conforming to societies rules and regulations?" but I say Just Be Just be is a simple term but I prefer simple to be quite honest Society maps out a set plan for you to fit into this world But shouldn't I get to be the judge on how I decide to shape and pamper my soul before I am gone? This life on earth is a spiritual blessing and it's your choice on how you wish to spend it I wish to love, appreciate and feel. To Just Be To let the world take over and grow it's roots inside of me For when I'm gone I can be satisfied with the fact that I let me Just Be
