Beauty Lies Within Every Soul

Beautifully crafted our souls 

reside in our bodies that we 

were so graciously blessed with.

Each one not quite like the other.

Innocently we were born into this

world of different creatures,each 

holding a different story between 

their cover. 

No one person is brought into this 

world with an evil soul. 

Some souls find the true definition 

of the worlds purpose. 

Others may lose their way and become

rekindled with a wicked spirit.

Their once perfectly crafted divine 

soul has become snatched by something

so vile ones self is now unrecognizable,

and others fill the void in their soul with 

an artificial elegance that will sooner or

later deteriorate and crumble into nothingness.

Hold on to your youthful soul,it's the only one 

you've been granted with.

Be humble and grateful for the little spirit that 

resides from within you and let it shine on the outside

for it is your glorious uniqueness that makes this world spin round.

It is our diversity, uniqueness and individual spirits that form the basis of humanity. Some embrace it (as expressed in your wonderful write) and others don’t know what they waste away! We were never meant to be the same – that’s why our fingerprints are all different … :-)

Such beautiful thoughts.. smoothly laid and full of ripe intention as to how to be.. how to observe and behave within the life span awarded.

Might you find an alternative word for 'soul'.. even 'spirit' or 'inner light' or.. Otherwise a lovely thought process and belief

Yes spirit and inner light probably would have been a better word choice throughout the poem, I just love the word soul, it's the one thing that defines us as human beings and it can have so many other hidden meanings. Oh no no, I love to here other people's inputs. I'm always open to recommendations from other wise writers who want to share their thoughts with me. Giving some suggestions to others helps us evolve as writers. I suppose the word criticism is a strong word...someone should come up with a new name:)

A truth not many observe; perhaps deep inside is where we can find the secrets of life, the purpose and grand idea. Why dont we think life as a story? A plot behind it all and a main idea, can it have alternate endings? Perhaps the soul is what we have been ignoring

Ever since I was young I've always seen life as a story. Even if you may not have the most perfect and polished life it is still a unique one for sure. I am a firm believer that we were all given these lives for a reason, pretty or not.
