Thunderstorm

Thunderstorm

A Poem by awkward turtle

Well it’s thundering outside

And me, I’m enjoying the rumbles

The dog hates it though

And the dog, well she is whimpering

So I’m cooing to her

And then soon I’m singing

While I'm sitting in my room, alone

Well except for the dog

And the dog, she seems to like it

The singing I mean

So there were are

I’m liking the rumbling and she’s liking the singing

And it’s peaceful

So I’m feeling better

I wasn’t feeling bad before

But now I feel good and I think well, maybe

I’m singing for me, too
