You Changed....

Slowly self destructing

Never set on one thing

Never doing a good thing

Never to say youre sorry

Always waiting for the next party

Dont you see how worried we are?

Dont you think that youre going too far?

What happened to the dreams that you had?

You would be better than this is what you said.

But youre dreams were crushed.

By people who said you werent good enough.

Or smart enough.

Or patient enough.

 But they didnt know you.

And they didnt try to understand.

So to lash out at them

You abandoned your plans.

But you could still be

the you that you were.

 Hes the one that we prefer.

So I wish you would change

Because though it may be strange

Its a fact.

 I want my older brother back

This is just downright, absolutely, amazing! I love love love it!!! What first drew me in to read it was the picture which is completely adorable (by the way I was just drawing little cartoons with those same characters but that is completely off-topic) anyway the poem was sooo fantastic I can't explain how much I enjoyed it! Really great....just....great.... :)

Aww! I love it. Nice! I can relate to this poem a lot. There's this guy who I have this strange connection, so to speak, but we aren't friends or anything. I met him when we were in 8th grade and he was so nice and sweet. Well, we're in 10th grade now and he is an absolute jerk to me and everyone else. He's friends with the wrong crowd. That's why. But I miss the old him.

Anyway, nice poem! :D
