A love note to the one feeling down:

You are sad and you feel like You are never enough for love. That is okay.
You are allowed to feel that.
But You are also so much more.

You are clever. You always have been.
Essays and words reel off your tongue seamlessly inserting themselves into the page like a soft kiss from your mind to the world.
You can bring words to life and let them dance across the page like the girl in the book you read when you were ten.

You have a laugh bigger than the sun itself and whether you like it or not it fills a room and tickles people’s sides and makes them laugh too.
How beautiful a skill to make those around you smile by just existing.

Your eyes may not be all you want them to be but they are a gateway to the fire in your soul when you get excited about your passions.
They come alive and dance with abundance and the joy of life itself.

Your skin is soft, like a baby and your touch comforts many, the way you need to be comforted sometimes.
You are stronger than you know and have picked yourself up time and time again and brushed yourself off and that is all you can ask yourself to do.

You are strong, undoubtedly, star child,
but you are also weak
and that is beautiful too.

It is okay to be soft and fragile and not always on the defence because when you allow yourself to feel, to break down those fences of what you feel is expected of you, you allow yourself to be human.

It’s okay to be human.

You are all the things that you admired in your heroines from your books. If you were to write a character that could do anything, she would be you. You are more than you give yourself credit for and your confidence is one of the most radiant things about you.

Shine, star child, shine.

Let yourself love yourself first. Let every inch of you fill with the warmth of the love you have for those around you that you love because you have so much of it to give. Decide to give a little to yourself.

Love yourself and anyone that is good enough to love you, and I mean really love you - can only do so when you do the same.

You are more than enough for love, it will come to you when you are ready.
