Collision

Collision

A Poem by MLE

Why is it
That when the stars collide
And light shines through
The good decides to hide.

The world begins to crumble
Our hearts begin to break
how much more pain
Can my fragile heart now take.

They sky begins to darken
And angels begin to fall
All the while you stand there
Steady, strong and tall.

While we shatter into shards
You stand and battle through
You warrior, you victor
But please still be you.

Your happy smiley face
Your silly funny jokes
Your great big hugs and kisses
Let none yet be revoked

We love you and we'll find you
We'll battle to the end
To support you and to mind you
Our rock, our joy, our friend
