Vodka Dreams

Vodka Dreams

A Poem by Emily

He left her

With shreds of hope

Dangling just out of reach

Masking tape in hand

Rubber cement, saliva

Frantically climbing ladders

Jumping from the top

Slamming into walls

Breaking

Her skull

Blood paints the hardwood floor

As he sleeps peacefully

With another
