Love true

Love true

A Poem by Emily

He nervously puts his fingertips
In his pockets
Leans back
Looks around the room
And then at me
I feel the intensity of his
Passion claiming my heart
In the strength of his gaze
At this moment, I know

I look away

Snuggling
My head on his chest
To hear the truth
In his rhythm, beating fast and hard
As he says, "I love you."

I bring my lips to his
Kiss
Touching his face
holding a deep breath
Slowly
Making love in the light
To see -
He brushes my hair out of my face
Smiling as our waves of energy
Wrap around each other

My hips move instinctively
Feeling him inside of me
Tears fall down my cheeks
Released
