Something

Something

A Poem by Emily
"

Closure

"

I never knew what you were

thinking

and all I could think of was you

Your broken heart was so

beautiful that

I wanted to see

its other side, for you to

love me the way

you loved her -  You taught me that

pain like that comes

from love like this

and it only happens once like

being infected with a virus

Forever

Mutating your cells -   You become

a note

in the music of the cosmos

and in

the symphony of my

               life.

"Your broken heart was so
beautiful that
I wanted to see
its other side" - sometimes we get so damaged by Love that we are forever tainted - liked an oxydised bottle of wine - never the same again. We are still wine, we still look the same and we still reside where wines are know to reside but we are are bitter and undrinkable, unpalatable and undesirable.
Another great write Emily.
