A Poem by Emily

I can still feel

  Your dark curly hair

Tangled in my fingers

Your sorrowful lips kissing my sweaty  chest

Leaving with my new white bra

  In my purse

Next to pepper spray and tobacco

Covered mints

 My dress wrinkled

   My shoes half on

Car windows down

Missing third gear

  Grinding sounds

Snapping me back to reality

          Hoping no one heard

The sound of my mistake

WOW, quite the picture you have painted here. An afternoon fling that later feels like a mistake, but probably has some value as it inspired this well written poem! Lydi**
