Hidden Love

Hidden Love

A Poem by Emily Wright
"

Unsaid feelings

"

The tears fall into the pillow below,

the darkness swallows her as she closes her eyes,

she relized she may only see him a few more times,

and although he does not know,

She's fallen in love with him.

With only the thought of losing him,

brings forth a fresh set of tears,

she wants to show him how she feels,

but the fear of him not loving her builds a wall across her path.

Knowing he may never love her truly makes her sad,

she trys to shut it away deep inside,

although she tries there is a lasting tug pulling at her heart,

the tug that makes her wish he knew.

Every time she sees him,

every time they talk,

she feels the happyness spread threw her body like a ragging fire.

She does her best to hide the looks she gives,

she does her best to hide her feelings,

but she will always wish that he can know,

she will always hope he will love her,

for now she will go without an answer to her silent question,

for now he will not know he holds her heart.

this poem really is a really good poem. the emotions are described really well. its sad when you think how many people can relate to those feelings.

Every time she sees him,
every time they talk,
she feels the happyness spread threw her body like a ragging fire.

hardest thing to hide is written in those lines. and it hits how it feels perfectly. great job on the poem!
