A Poem by Emily B

i dreamed today

i was in the car

trying to nap

it was a dream, you know

and  heard children

they were laughing

and there was static

and i heard you

talking

not so clear

that i could catch

every word

and i dreamed i tried to call

and the dialed numbers

never went anywhere

Emily, this was beautiful. (no more need be said than that)

It's Hart-esque, clearly you and yours, understand, but Hart-esque nonetheless, and that's not a bad thing to be.

A lovely, wonderfully enigmatic bit of work whose meaning only you know--or, hopefully, will eventually know.
The rest of us can only marvel at your talent and cheer you on.

like birth is prompted by the child's desire to leave the womb,it seems so children can desire to bring us inward to dream, in flight, gravitated with unconscious, instinctual ease. moth-like towards discovery.
very nice :)

. sometimes when our consciousness gets connected to another's consciousness, we dream of their presence ... but because scientists haven't done as well as poets yet ... we wonder if our dreams were just dreams or something more ... your words are a lot more than your dream ... and the voice will be clearer soon ... between two people so connected, numbers are not needed ... they are there but not more important than the soul connection ... this is a spectacular piece of soulful poetry ... i absolutely loved it ...
