. oh, this is another amazingly perceptive and poetic piece of life and thought, emily ... you read minds and help the reader read minds ... you have this uncanny knack of literally sniffing out life's mysterious fragrances ... and bringing them to the reader with wisdom and a sense of release and relief ... stunning work, girl ... just absolutely stunning ...

I have been there and seen that in my waking life, a real eerie feeling that overwhelms the senses and I have never been able to capture this in poetry the way you have, very well done x
seems to me, this poem is bigger than it appears, there is a whole life behind it, and a whole life ahead of it... that is moment is the most significant, this is the pivot, the moment everything else balances on. it gives a sense or hope, or fate, or even just the self realization or "i". i didn't understand the last two lines, but then maybe i'm not meant to. beautiful work emily, enjoyed this very much.
this poem is quite emotional, its funny when we dream something and then see it in real life, that sense of being there once before, loved the way you described your reactions.

anxious for a story
or a kiss.
Listening to my words
spinning adventures,
like so much g.. more..
