transmutation

transmutation

A Poem by Emily B
"

internal alchemy

"

You still search

for the philosopher’s stone.

Anxious to turn lead into gold

seeking the coherent whole.

Solve, et Coagula.

Separate and Join Together.

Nigredo burns,

and we melt.

Albedo, ablutio,

aqua vitae--

We emerge cleansed and ready.

Citrinitas dawns--

Solar light illuminates all.

Rubedo,

coherent, whole--

Fusion of spirit and matter.
