A Poem by Emily B

I want to walk through forgetfulness--

emerge on the other side

quiet

and whole

and content

free of imagined demons--

bathed in the river of the unremembered.

i love this. how I wish I could forget some things! but somehow they linger, and often overshadow the present! frustrating, but life. if you do not remember the past, you can not appreciate what is happening now. great words, Emily! such great word choices and carefully designed. well done!

What a lovely idea... such serenity would be nice indeed! A moment of forgetfulness from 'underworld' around us.

you don't need a lot of words to make a very BIG statement.
