again
how one wishes at times that your loved one could guess at the urgency of your need or rather the depth of your yearning...sometimes it happens..sometimes he is totally oblivious to your wants..all you could hope for is that when he does come to you he makes up for all..
i hope i did not stray far away from the topic..lovely work.
this is again a wonderful poetry, dear Emily. such an analogy..Such a yearning for being recognized in a particular way. I loved this, an 100 points (thank you for your reviews.)

Wow!!! how did I miss this? I find this as deep as those roots you speak of, something that needs nurturing in a hurry...as all hope is lost, we seem to look for the answers from someone of a higher power. This is excellent Sweet Emily.
I've been doing gardening lately and seeing a lot of correlations between the earth and the heavens and the mind..
there's a rain we create and a rain we enjoy when it comes...
Wonderful poem about hope and I like the way my imagination sees hope coming down in the form of rain in answer to your need. I like the ending of your poem the best,
to the Lost Boys
I am no Wendy;
but my voice brings you back to me.
And you sit around my feet,
anxious for a story
or a kiss.
Listening to my words
spinning adventures,
like so much g.. more..
