new adventures

A Poem by Emily B
"

for Sahar

"

I never thought

to possess blue eyes

before.

Never imagined

a world not colored

by shining brown.

Never thought

to be one who reflects

two azure lakes.

Imagine my pleasure

to glimpse through pools

that reflect your blue skies.

Amazed

at the adventures

of a conjuring mind.

The reflection of color or feeling. My husband has hazel eyes. I felt that they were the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen when we met. I still do. Color does relay emotion and even feelings. Nature reveals meaning too. Your poem of nature and imagination just was an inspiring dip in a lovely pool. Thanks. I read your poem 'to melt' in the past and thought I'd check this one out when I saw your review on Einstein noodle's page.
Bless you,
Kathy

This is wonderful ... what a unique way of saying you are looking into someone elses life through their words on the page... you say so much with so little words. Amazing talent you possess!
