I love those fleeting moments of knowing. This poem describes so well that I can almost feel the sensation myself. We are all part of the natural world, we are like leaves floating on the water. A beautiful vision as well as depth is to be found in this poem.
Our feelings seem to be in synchronization with the seasons...mellowing with the leaves and days of autumn...will winter be bitter or mild? We will wish for the best and prepare for the worst and hope we will meet again in spring. Lovely dear lady.
I love those times of reflection and knowing. Knowing you are part of a huge scheme and reflecting upon where you fit within it. Being sad about what some have done to it and happy that so many are working hard to protect it. Just the knowing you are a part of it. Great write!
the neutral 'just knowing' - important place to get to and often overlooked in this emotional and opinionated ride inside human skin. You poem builds to this point very nicely
The melancholy feel of fall as the background, yet really just neeeding to feel. This is all brought to us by nature. And in a strange way, melancholy can sometimes drive us to find the thoughts that make us happy.

I am no Wendy;
but my voice brings you back to me.
And you sit around my feet,
anxious for a story
or a kiss.
Listening to my words
spinning adventures,
like so much g.. more..
