The Gardener

The Gardener

A Chapter by Emily B
"

just a beginning

"

He is a man who dreams

lush and color-filled garden-edens

and the most delicate pleasures

of a knowing-eyed woman.

His hands nurture

tender budding blooms

into visions of ecstasy.

His heart sings

all the glories

that his hands can hold.

You are on a roll with all things. This is contagious. You may have sparked a poem or two within me. These thoughts and ideas must be coming from that muse of yours, this is pure Emily at her best.
I didn't know you had a book in the works, I will have to read those chapters. Please don't take it down too soon. It may take me awhile. lol

if this is a beginning, then I care for no end. I will wonder only of what comes next, and patiently wait.

I love this piece. I agree with Tamara, I love a man who dreams because I am also a dreamer. This paints a beautiful image of a beautiful garden and it's caretaker. I love the words that you have chosen to describe this scene. It's perfect.

If this is just a beginning, it's one hell of a good one.

I've always thought men who dream (although they all do) are very special .. it's the ones who can admit it that get me every time. Wonderful writing today Emily!
