This IS very Emily like, it reminds me of a movie, an english man went up a hill and came down a mountain, I was so impressed by that true story made for movie, Like I am by this beautiful poem. To stand resolute in ones convictions, is a beautiful thing, so stand resolute while the bee whispers, well that's nature calling :)
I would agree with the previous review that with 'his' there is a change in the theme..as in not an absolute change but it is those three last lines which added a different voice to this poem.I like the subtle sensuality here.How there is so much in the nature for us to see and learn from....only a discerning view such as yours can grasp that.I love the title 'trepidation'..such an apt term for the words that followed.
what a beautiful word, trepidation.
and a plant resolute. with all my years of gardening, i need a genius like you to point out the resolution of plants. of course of course!
steadfast. resolute and steadfast. i will view my flowers in a different way today!
leaves held to the sun... almost like worshipping... how had i never noticed before... that the plants
worship the sun... and never noticed the curiosity of the bees... how curiously
Spring is here! New beginning's! Very nice poem and brother Bee is going extinct,which is very sad. I received a blessing from a bee because I and my people are in the same boat.Very awesome poem my friend.

I am no Wendy;
but my voice brings you back to me.
And you sit around my feet,
anxious for a story
or a kiss.
Listening to my words
spinning adventures,
like so much g.. more..
