seduced

seduced

A Poem by Emily B
"

inspired by Jibey

"

your words

ran away with me

this morning

maybe it was the fog

creeping in through open windows

til I surrendered

maybe my imagination

was seized strongest

by the first words I met on waking

maybe I dreamed you

only to wake and hear you whisper

stay close

love it...simple language and strongly emotive .. and is written to be taken on more than one level .. those first thoughts and impressions on waking ..or just before...can have such a strong impact on at least the first few hours of the day ..if not more .. the space between dreams and the "real" world can be stretched sometimes ..and oh how the imaginations can get ones full attention ... i love the title and i love the poem ..and how they work together to create a sensual thread .. so glad we have met.

You are a hopeless romantic Emily. This one touched waking life and dreams and morning mist and a whisper ... it touched so much of what I love in a poem.

Soft. Inviting. Two of the main ingredients that make a seduction such a sweet surrender. Seduction should be simple and un-cumbersome, you achieved that in this small work. Mission accomplished!

Oh Emily how sweet this is ,in a few words, you told of seduction at its highest..
Your words ran with me,maybe the fog crept through windows, had to surrender
maybe my imagination seized by your words, maybe I dreamed you while asleep
only to wake and here you whisper..softly..stay close
