A Poem by Emily B
"

A collaboration withy my special friend, An Ornery Gentleman. It is always a pleasure to mix words.

"

amazing when miracles

suddenly manifest

beach-birds rising and circling

high above the Audobon

mystery steeps in unfurled wings

we slow down

for a smile and a sigh

passing gracefully over

barely noticeable steps..

close and hollow..

ghost crabs ephemerally longing

for a moonbeam's generous hands

a universe dispatches

a casual touch

conflict, contrast..

each mating w/in its own species

the spirit is migratory..

eternal as we coexist naturally

lines are blurring

and separation becomes less apparent.

We are woven into the fabric

of the Universe.

we slow down

for a smile and a sigh

and you take my hand

And, yet, somehow

in transcendent moments

we are the miracles.

Yes, Emily, this was an absolute pleasure to write and read...when I got to "lines blurring", the magic of it just sort of washed over me in waves...
It's like I said when I first sent it to you..your essence was already flowing through the words.
From our earlier collaberations, etc..
it was nice dancing w/ you. A joy unparalleled by winning the lottery or anything material...
I'm gonna post my part as a separate piece w/ a link to yours, like the first, except the opposite.

This took me to a quiet, peaceful, ocean side site that I haven't physically been upon, in 26 years. Your piece then reminds me of the souls I interact with on a regular basis that miss me, when I don't show my face, to them for days/nights on end. Yeah, I miss them too, but, Mother Nature's winter wrath keeps me safe at home.
A fine write!! Very enjoyable to read!!

This is superd and transcendental in every way. The nature of the Universe and those that come together as One - a thought by the way that is ancient - is wonderfully and vitally descriptive here. Kudos to you both. I am enamored with this. It certainly goes in my favorites as it moved my very soul.

A joy to read. fine descriptions, gentle pictures of great and peaceful beauty - uncommon in our frenetic 24/7 world. The poem says everything - I can't, so won't add to, or comment upon it. I simply read the words and am at peace.

Life is so beautiful when we stop and look at all that surrounds us and made more beautiful when we can express and share the feelings with someone else. The two of you did a great job, it is dificult to pick at someones brain and be able to read their mind.......in tuned with yours.

A fantastic mixing of words... when two great minds share thoughts in one verse the world is doubly blessed... so much of life is like a razors edge and waling it can make you dizzy, we just ned to let the world stop spinning before making rash decisions, easier said then done... a fantastic write you two.
