Exploration

A Poem by Emily B
"

A collaboration withy my special friend, An Ornery Gentleman. It is always a pleasure to mix words.

"

amazing when miracles

suddenly manifest

beach-birds rising and circling

high above the Audobon

mystery steeps in unfurled wings

we slow down

for a smile and a sigh

passing gracefully over

barely noticeable steps..

close and hollow..

ghost crabs ephemerally longing

for a moonbeam's generous hands

a universe dispatches

a casual touch

conflict, contrast..

each mating w/in its own species

the spirit is migratory..

eternal as we coexist naturally

lines are blurring

and separation becomes less apparent.

We are woven into the fabric

of the Universe.

we slow down

for a smile and a sigh

and you take my hand

And, yet, somehow

in transcendent moments

we are the miracles.

Yes, Emily, this was an absolute pleasure to write and read...when I got to "lines blurring", the magic of it just sort of washed over me in waves...
It's like I said when I first sent it to you..your essence was already flowing through the words.
From our earlier collaberations, etc..
it was nice dancing w/ you. A joy unparalleled by winning the lottery or anything material...
I'm gonna post my part as a separate piece w/ a link to yours, like the first, except the opposite.

what a lovely picture your words paint - the whole thing reads like a beach stroll while watching the circling birds - one of my favorite pass times, especially when they soar and glide like kites, i find it inspiring. anyway, after reading this i think i now need to make a trip to the ocean:)

This was absolutely beautiful.. the imagery, the phrasing and word selections were all perfect. It was like a vacation reading this.. oh so refreshing. Wonderfully done.

Beautiful and seamless.
So much sensual movement and images.
Then the unfurling of the greatest truth.

Wonderful!

wow, this is brilliant, loved the picturesque meaning and flow emily. you two did a soft, peaceful, dreamy job convincing the reader of the moment in ways only an artist can. classically invoked.

I stopped reading.
Ema, I KNOW YER BETTER THAN WAT YOU'VE POSTED HERE. Ma, im in sub-zero temps., in the freakin mts, with bad company...from time-to-time...Ema, you aint gettn no free passes here. Warm my heart and soul ma! Take me away from the frigid neglect of a world consumed with complacency and tired ideology. This 'exploration' simply was a retelling of these precepts.

Ah, two becoming one, the rest of the world falling away, insignificant. Really beautiful job on this. Your collaboratione efforts are really paying off. This was a wonderful read.

We are woven into the fabric of the Universe / ....somehow in transcendent moments we are the miracles.

A lovely flow of images and ideas... reflecting the special perception that comes about when two hold hands and their eyes are opened...
