breathless

breathless

A Poem by Emily B
"

another walk

"

I feel you closer.

Colorful flashes

of brilliant light

haunt waking hours.

The vagaries

of your nearness

are too much to whisper

except

you make me breathless.

Oh this is beautiful. A pleasant surprise after dem lukewarm pieces...hehe ;-)
Seems as though although the moon is no longer shining, the dawn simply brings insomniac induced visions of the last evenings activities. The leaping Cheshire leopard! The hypnotic spooks, made magical by alluring moonbeams! A poets memories. And shooting stars. Ahh, yes. A quote may rouse me, but trepidation seems to be your breathless aphrodisiac!
A great contemplative piece!

Very nicely written. The feeling of love, the light in our lives, the feeling of them taking our breath away as we gaze upon them. Well done.

That is beautiful. It made me think of when spiritual guides are around. They bring colour and light like this too. And their nearness makes me 'breathless'.
Or nature energies.......
Very beautiful.

Perhaps it is the walking, perhaps it is the Fall, perhaps it is because I miss Maryland; but I can imagine walking through the woods of my childhood - as the season changed, through the season, and leading up to Winter - the simple manifestation of that extravagant beauty would leave me breathless... if only there were some trees that changed colors out here in left field, I might find a moment of serenity.

someone has brought sunshine to your life, but they don't stay very long before they wander away, you always feel them close, there is a longing in your voice. This is how I am feeling this piece.

Sweet sparkling reflection... you are not angel, but one could easily mistake u for one... irresistible charm comes across in its brevity...
