Frost

Frost

A Poem by Emily B

Frost told us of the road not travell'd
And we listened,
and nodded,
and we quote the words
when they seem appropriate.

But what about the word not said?
When we see
emotion
in its rawest form,
without words,
do we dare
extend
our hand
to a stranger?

Wonderful sentiment.

We as humans would feel much more comfortable travelling down that untraveled road alone than we would offering a kind word to a stranger, I believe that is true. We have become bored with any kind of stimuli that is not electronic; person-to-person communication is becoming almost obsolete.

I like this so much Emily. I was thinking you had written about actual Frost but it is the wonderful poet... You pose a good question so poetically.. I don't know the answer... I think yes ..a beautiful poem.

Very touching and beautiful sentiment. Made me think which your writing often does. From this I get that we often say the things we would or should do but it is not always so easy in practice. We can freeze in these moments of truth. Thanks for this

I really wish I had written this. It is so sage, yet once we've read it, it seems so obvious. You always seem to write the things that we read and then have bore into us for months afterward.

Awesome work.
