Loveless

For the person I love who broke my heart more than 2 times...

You seem so far away now

You left me in pain and sadness

I ask you now, will you come back?

But then only time will tell when.

But this impatient fool demands

an answer to the question

Please don't answer

I feel so guilty and uncertain

My mind says to leave you

My heart says to love you

But I have a soul so fine

It can handle on its own

So I choose to follow my soul

Lead me through this pain

Guide me through the confusion

Help me recover my heart

My one love, my other heart

Half of it, you took it with you

My heart now, bleeding without you

Without it, what must I do?

My prince, I love you

I beg for your return

But your heart didn't want

to be with me anymore

My Romeo, I was your Juliet

But then you chose another

So now, what am I?

A heart-broken maiden

A "Good Night" from you,

I'm suppose to smile

But this time it's different

I don't know why.

 

Dramatic I may seem

But this is how I feel

How much pain I wrote

In this long poem of mine.

I liked you, I love you

I help you, I need you

I comfort you, I tried

You're my inspiration

The growing revolutionary

The outstanding leader

A Jose Rizal imitation

A Ninoy Aquino in the making

Who else do you think I'm talking about?

Awkward, yes, but it's "human nature".
