Hey, Little SpiderA Poem by Emiko TagahushiThis was a poem I wrote for my Creative Writing class. I was trying to figure out what to write when I saw a spider out the window. :) It's just a fun poem.Hey little spider Climbing on the screen Why do you try so hard? To create a beautiful web so clean
It is fifty degrees outside spider I think it’s time to hide Before the snow falls And covers your poor little body alive
Stop crawling on the window spider Take a little break You must be cold out there From the wind blowing on your nape
I’d let you in, little spider Struggling to climb But I’m deathly afraid Of your very kind
Don’t be offended spider I mean no harm Although I worry about your condition I still prefer you to be out of reach of my arm
I bid you farewell, spider And the best of luck Hurry and scurry away Because winter is going to suck. © 2015 Emiko TagahushiAuthor's Note
