Dear Love, Dear Friend

Dear Love, Dear Friend

A Poem by Emiko Tagahushi
"

This is another poem I wrote in my Creative Writing class. Enjoy!

"

Dear love, dear friend

How could you leave me?

All alone with no other than this

Ink laid across this page

Since you were gone "

Or more say useless "

I say my final goodbye.

I treasured the times

We had together

Writing away our feelings across the paper

Carrying our burdens as friends.

I’m sorry I used you

So much you suffered so

That your blood flowed out

Until you could write no more.

Thus, I am forced to continue on without you

My love

My dear, dear friend

My one, and only

Favorite pen.
