Experience It

If you're curious, Experience It for yourself! :D It's just a short, free verse I wrote for a Creative Writing class.

If you cannot see the sunset

Feel it with your skin

Let the warmth soak in

Fall into its arms

And hold you tight like a blanket.

 

If you cannot touch the water

Listen to it with your ears

Hear it splash around you

Or sit in silence surrounding you

And a little ripple is heard.

 

If you cannot hear the wind

Breathe it in with all your strength

Let your chest expand

Smell the fresh breeze pass by

And tickle your nose hairs with excitement.

 

If you cannot smell the peach

Taste it with your mouth

Let it soak on your tongue

All the flavors flowing out

And coming into one.
