Endless Colour

Endless Colour

A Poem by Emily Filkins

(two versions of my occurring dream)
Colors like a covenants garden,
my escape has varied over time,
forever paradise will mention;
it's ways of never ending spring,
meets white-on-dead branches,
to describe its contrasting beauty,
forever paradise will not wait
you may see it once, if not twice
or join it at the pearly gate
Colors of the endless cosmos
my escape has differed over time
forever paradise never wallows
for leaving this place is a crime
