Midnight InsanityA Poem by LucyRain leaves trails on the foggy window As the dusk approaches dawn The winter light dances with fire And I sit and scream silently
Birds sing songs of ancient times Trees shed leaves like tears Wind skitters across the lake And I understand the reason
Darkness fights a battle with light Lions let out their roar Silk drapes the banister And I shiver at the feeling
The stars reverse their patterns Feathers drift through the sky Earth churns with emotion And I can't sense a thing
Blackness drapes the fresh noon air And hyenas cackle in fear Plants wither and spring up simaltaneously And I think I might go mad
if im not already...
