Hokum Maze

Hokum Maze

A Poem by Leah

Weaving, squiggly critters

Scuttling little monuments

Lilting animalistic visions

Pouncing, purring Irises of Havilah

Betwixt the Golden Pair

In a bubbled vagary

Floating into melanoid slits

Fish-eyed kissers, dazed

With viridian scleras

Kaleidoscopic state

O’er Vertigo’s Desert

Sepulchral bamboozling grins

Hurdled upon motley ocelots

Alongside Sir Prance-A-Lot

This crescent jaunt outlives Mephistopheles

Like a voyage of dwarves, heedless

Ne’er longing an end

Gliding through pies in the sky

Then, with a rhapsodical plunk

My Utopia arrives at its vault
