“It wasn’t a ghost or an angel that had saved me eight years ago. She was something that had more control or power. She knew what she wanted, she had a purpose. I don’t believe this was a miracle and I don’t think magic was used in her trick. All I can remember is her long blond hair that brushed her waist. Her golden eyes that shined like the sun somehow comforted me, lying on my death bed. Up to my nine years of age I was stricken with a deadly cancer, to the point of which doctors gave up. They had left me there, until that one night. Most would choose a mother, father, or close friend for this project. Or at least someone with a pulse. She is not the type of monster you hear in story books or fairytales. This is why she is classified as my hero, or heroine if I may,” I pause taking in a deep breath.

The high school students before me appear to take some interest in my report. “Her name is Sri, and only Sri. For a time I thought she was just a figure of my imagination. My imaginary friend. She was a child and I was a child, nine years of age. Her rosy cheeks, and that glow she had around her always left me speechless and shy. She would come and sit with me each and everyday I was in the hospital as doctors took multiple tests. My story begins seven years ago, to the age of which doctors proclaimed me dead.”
