For there was this young girl

Who jumped rope with a man.

He didn't know her

But she knew him.

She recognized him.

Could point him out in a crowd.

Knew his favorite color

Everything he was, she knew.

Leaves me thinking... pretty nicely written, simple manner. I know how it feels to be in this position, though. I have seen people before from ages ago, who had no clue who I was, but I oddly remembered everthing about them. Except for the jump roping part... lol. It seems to be thrown in randomly, but makes me wonder if it has some deeper meaning.

The emotions I sense in this poem are blissful sadness. Like the girl didn't expect him to know her at all, she was content with knowing him and did not expect him to know her. This poem was so simple and short, but it was very well written.

I sense a bit of sadness within this poem.. although something so harmless, so innocent, was so incredibly powerful at the moment from a girl's point of view. Also, the main idea being "He didn't know her, but she knew everything about him is simple yet so complex.
