What Are You Made Of?

What Are You Made Of?

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

It is not your day to live

Nor is it your day to die.

It is your day and your alone to prove who you are.

All to prove what you're really made of.

Things you lack or gain.

What's your strength?

And what's your weakness?

I wish I knew.

So prove to me what you're made of.

Prove it to us all who walk the Earth.

This one is really good because it's different and we've all had to proof something, exactly what we're made of.

I'm not sure to whom you're saying it in this poem, but it is lovely, I must say. Short and straight to the point. However, maybe not everyone should prove to someone what they are made of, which like I mentioned earlier, unless you're writing this to someone. Somehow, this reminds me of the Masquerade scene in the musical movie "Phantom of the Opera".

Keep it up! :)
