Giving us a clue as to the genre would really help us put a beat to the music [or if you study music, give us the beat/measure count]. You actually had something to say which is good, a lot of people [like me] write about pretty much nothing, which gets old after a while. Keep it up.

I tried to find music to this, I really did, but I just couldn't feel it as a song. I can't get into the rhythm you've created, and that's really too bad. It's good other than that, but saying that a song has no immediately discernible tune is pretty damning in itself.

By the way, 'cease' is not spelled 'ceise'

This inevitably makes me think of L'Aura's song "Today." The lyrics aren't really similar at all, but in my mind, the tone is very, very similar.
