World's End

World's End

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I don't know

Why the world turns and I

Don't turn along with it.

I just stand there

In the cold, open air.

The world passes by

But I am not moving.

I am stationary.

Hoping for someone

To come and save me.

Before the world ends

For all of us.

step one foot in front of the other and start moving, slowly...
get your feet wet. this is a fine write of solitude.

kudos

Very nice and well written piece with a couple of sentiments; the world is passing me by and it's going to end.

lovely!
- But, in my opinion: even if you stand still, you are revolving with the all world! And don't wait any more! There is no one to come and save us if we don't "save" ourselves!
