While this poem does not effect me directly, it does explain my family life and my younger sibling, sadly. This poem hit home and it is beautifully written. *applause* I can't wait to read more of your stuff. :3
we all feel a bit of this sibling rivalry, but do not apologize for not being someone else.....you are YOU and every bit as deserving as she is.......embrace your "You-ness"
Ha, I know I'm not the favorite. I have four siblings and I've always been the one she wishes would be normal. But she's not my favorite parent either -__-
Wow...boy can I relate, except it's my little brother...actually it's all my brothers. I've always been the odd one out as the only girl and ever since my dad died two years ago it just got worse. Great poem. By the way, you are an awesome writer!
Okay, so you have mommy issues and sister issues. Been there, done that, seen this all before. What interests me is something that came up in your other recent poem. You're a daddy's girl, but you kind of brush over that. What's wrong with being a daddy's girl? Why are you so desperate for your mother's approval over your father's? Half of this world wishes they were their sibling, so if I were you I'd focus on what makes you unique
