The Simple Truth

The Simple Truth

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

The truth is

I am not myself.

Emotions and actions are different.

They are just not me.

As much as I dream of dying

I crave the need for life.

To make the bad things better.

I need people to see

And hear me.

short simple and cutting to the point. these emotions are very human and feel very earthy, a striving to figure out oneself.

So short. Kapow!!! In 6 sentences. Its like a label on a bottle of medicine. Instructions for those that need to be informed. Before they take this...
It is truth, and it speaks simply volumes, while going very deep. I learned alot from this. I am now subscribing to your poetry.

I relate to this.
You convey your message clearly, in a 'simple' form [which, in this case is a very good thing, for I truly believe anything more... 'complex' would have taken away from this].

Very nice.

A good expression of that emotion we all have to make a difference. I like it.
