Numbers

Numbers

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Two, seven
Eight, five
These numbers mean nothing.
Unless they mean something
Then I must figure that out.
They are all ages I have reached
And passed.
Thinking, thinking
God, this is all pointless...
What do they mean?
We may never know.
