You Can't Leave

You Can't Leave

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

How dare you say that to me!

You promise to protect me, next you ignore and want nothing to do with me.

And what have I done to you?

If you leave, what will happen to me?

I won't be stable enough to stand and be as brave as you once were.

I wish, but no.

If you leave, those white clouds above will turn to a mere black and invade the land with sorrow and dark storms in which I am afraid of.

I dare you not to leave.

See what happens if you stay.

x
very dramatic.
A scene from a play perhaps...

I liked this. I can feel the torment. I don't know if it was a romantic break-up, or someone who you thought you were close to has just betrayed you. And it doesn't really matter.

You've captured every heart torn asunder with the very last sentece. It's great!
