Hours of Words

Hours of Words

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

What is life that today and tomorrow bring for us?

My mind is whirling around again.

Haven't slept in 24 hours.

Laying in bed calms my tense nerves.

Life today is not the greatest

But yet,  I look forward to facing it.

Can't think of what to say.

I have said all that I can.

I have nothing else.

Wow...a pure simple piece. Just lying on the bed helps sometimes, I know. Then, you can't think of what to say...perfect.

I have sooo been there. I used to regularly stay up for 36+ hours when school/work/home schedules all crashed together. Reading your piece, I can remember what it was like to lay in bed, trying to grasp the concept of what time it was...and failing.

Interesting read.

quite often i wake up wondering what the day ahead might bring , sometimes happy things sometimes sad but every day brings me a chance to greet a new friend and if that friend returns my greeting , then it has been a beautiful day .
hello my friend , loved the poem . xxx
