Apocalyptic KissA Poem by I Am Svetlana
Bare tree branches
make me the slightest bit lonely. To linger in love with you, wanting only to be found. On long days, on slow days, we will hold hands on trains. Drift into another life Where kissing is unfamiliar. I braid flowers in my hair while flaunting dirty sneakers. Grinning in a grey sweater cause I've never had an overdue library book. I hide it in my dreams-- an apocalyptic kiss. Don't even have to speak your name.
