Purgatory

Purgatory

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Hazy memories between the world
of the living and the dead.
"Let's share a meal, you & I".
One last embrace,
one last kiss.
I wondered what
oblivion was like.
"Is this not what you wanted?"
My shoes are lost
with the remains of the dead.
