Hostage LoveA Poem by I Am Svetlana
Yesterday, you spoke to me,
making me believe that endings are still magical. There's a light you still hold which brought you back to a girl who survived trauma: the monster within my head. Once you left again, I began stitching back my soul, learning how to unmiss you. Tending to my wounds caused by the seeds of your emotions. I will swallow entire stars to heal my mangled insides. Scary how the skin of a gentle human can be held hostage by a love.
