Take Caution

Take Caution

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

A change in the season,
each its own pattern.
You wouldn't want to
spend one minute
in my head.

I spill coffee on my dress.
My socks rarely match.
Lips chapped and bitten.
I create my own
constellations on
the ceiling.
I never sleep
on planes,
but have been
overly tired.

Let's face it--
I hold an uncertain existence.
I am not a phoenix.
I am under construction.
