Absolutely beautiful work! It feels weightless, but has so much depth.
We are all shaped by the people around us, but willing for it to happen or being conscious of it implies a whole other experience. The sort of love you feel here is made clear, and I'm sure all those who have felt this form of love recognize it immediately.

This made me think of the characters that we sometimes write into existence, wishing that they could be real. Like Pinocchio, do the characters perhaps wish they were real as well? Great poem! Short and to-the-point.

This is a very good piece. I like the way it starts out. It almost reminds me of a friend of mine who, on the occasion, is afraid her boyfriend might leave her because she isn't what she thinks he wants. Sometimes that desire to be exactly who your love wants is overwhelming.
