Love's Grip

I know what I did was cruel
And you feel you've been played as a fool

I tell you "I'm human, I made a mistake"
You say I'm nothing but a huge fake

And the pain of the truth is unbearable
Love's grip on your heart feels terrible

As much as you want to walk away
All you hear is me yell, "Please stay!"

this kinda spoke to me on a level of that human fallibility that exists inside us all, which a person who is hurt will ignore in sake of their moment of pain to outburst against with anger and dismissal. I also enjoyed it, well done :)
