Made of steelA Poem by NyaI wrote this about 2 years ago, not one of my best pieces, but one of my favorites:
It's funny how a heart so warm
Can turn into a heart so cold. It's strange that the beating of a heart Can mimic the sound of thunder. Blow after blow after blow The once fragile heart crumbles And from a place unknown A heart of steel starts to grow. So throw at this heart what u want Even the strongest dagger Won't leave a single scratch On this heart of steel. But hidden behind the cold steel Is a heart so tired and worn. a heart torn with disappointment, A heart locked away for good. © 2016 NyaAuthor's Note
